Put It On A Pallet International!

It has been an eventful year to say the least on every front – and of course the biggest story of the year politically has been Brexit. It’s possible that there will be changes in the coming years regarding pallets shipping to and from Europe from the UK and Ireland, with even the possibility of tariffs being imposed on pallets entering the EU from the UK once Brexit is complete. We will cross that bridge if and when we come to it, but for now, we are happy to report that the fall in the value of the pound has increased our exports from Northern Ireland and the UK to a variety of places all over the world. We see it is a “UK 10-15% off” crazy sale on international ebay transactions, as the cheaper pound makes it more affordable for global clients to purchase UK products and we have been handling shipping. In the past few weeks we have shipped goods – mostly machinery – to Zambia via South Africa, Canada, Qatar, Finland and many other countries worldwide. We have also shipped pallets to many more countries within mainland Europe. including pallets to France, Germany, Spain and Poland from Ireland and the UK.

If you have a pallet or cargo you need shipped worldwide, please give us a call on 02892 042655 or email any enquiry to:

Put It On A Pallet at The Palace!

It’s not every day that you get an invitation to Buckingham Palace to attend a garden party so when the opportunity came we just had to go!

The Princes Trust 40th Anniversary was the occasion, and given the support we have enjoyed from the Trust (since before we even started trading) it was an honour to go and meet other volunteers and young people who have been helped by the Trust.

Put It On A Pallet director Tony Rodgers was first in line for afternoon finger food and to be honest that particular tent was visited on several occasions throughout the day, with the salmon being the pick of the bunch, closely followed by the mini cakes with a crown on top. The tea tasted particularly sweet in the London sunshine, and the company wasn’t bad either. In attendance were Rolling Stones, Spice Girls, James Bond, Damien Lewis, and Brian May from Queen amongst many other familiar faces. The actual Queen was upstairs but didn’t come out to play. Prince Charles spent most of the afternoon meeting guests in the garden but we were busy having fun with Mr Reggae Reggae Sauce Levi Roots (what a cool dude!)

Other highlights included hanging out at the bizarre 200 year old gift from Napoleon , chilling in the Queens garden house, strolling along the lake and wandering in and out of the Palace itself like we owned the place.

Thanks to the Princes Trust for the invite and thanks to Buckingham Palace for the food, tea, coffee, juice, more food, more tea and more juice. And then more food.

And also we have to say thanks to all of our faithful customers and partners who make Put It On A Pallet such a great success.

Don’t forget – we ship pallets to and from the UK and Ireland or anywhere else in the world. Email us with any shipping enquiries at:

Put It On A Pallet Charity Support and Customer Offer!

Here at Put It On A Pallet we like to do our bit to support others less fortunate than ourselves and we would like to give our customers some discount if they are willing to do the same.

We support the charity Care International who helps those most in need, mainly in war zones, refugee camps and after natural disasters

At you can lend money to the person of your choice by searching through the various entrepreneurs seeking funding. There are chicken farmers in Ecuador, rice growers in Vietnam, market sellers in Kenya and hundreds of other people all over the world seeking a small interest-free loan to help them support their families. They pay you all of the money back over 12-24 months and so it really doesn’t cost you anything but it changes their lives and the lives of their children.

We have helped two people so far. We wanted to help another transport provider so we lent money to Mohammed Shafique who drives a tuk-tuk in Karachi, all of his children go to school and their schooling expenses are around about 3,000 rupees a month. He is the sole wage earner for his family. He drives a rickshaw, earning 16,000 rupees per month (about £130). He bought his rickshaw on instalments and we helped him pay off his rickshaw quicker to save money on interest payment. Mohammed has paid us a little bit back every month for nearly a year and a half now and is almost fully repaid.

Teresa Narvaez lend with care

We then lent money to Teresa Mijas from a rural community just outside the small town of Cariamanga in southern Ecuador. She is a single mother and lives with her three children and makes a living from raising and selling pigs and chickens. One of her children has learning difficulties and needs care so Doña Teresa prefers to work from home. She requested a loan in order to buy piglets and buy materials to improve the area where the chickens are housed at night. She is now paying back small instalments over the next year.

If you feel like you could lend some money to someone in need, a loan of as little as £15 can make a massive difference and all of the money goes straight to the entrepreneur you select. They pay the money back and it goes back into your PayPal account.

We are offering £10 off the next pallet shipment to any of our customers who makes a microloan to anyone with Lend With Care.

Visit or to search to directly search for someone in need of a microloan to help grow their small business.

This is a very effective way of helping people to help themselves and their families without actually costing you anything as all loans are repaid.

Please let us know if you make a loan and we will give you £10 credit towards your next pallet order.

Put It On A Pallet invited to Stormont

Fresh from the “Celebrate Success” Awards in Belfast, Put It On A Pallet Director Tony Rodgers was invited to Stormont for a tour and a reception hosted by the new Minister for Economic Development Lord Morrow.

It was extremely interesting, the history of Stormont is fascinating and aside from the stunning interior design and painting the highlights were sitting in the Senate Room (where the NI Government used to sit), the Chamber (where MLA’s were debating  a finance bill) and also seeing the State gifts, random bits and bobs given to Northern Ireland from visiting dignitaries.

All in all it was a very interesting evening, the food was nice too, and we would like to thank the Prince’s Trust and the Minister for Social Development for the invite.

We are pleased to report that we are busy moving pallets all over Ireland, the UK and beyond.

Call our office with any shipping enquiries on 02892 042655 or email and see what we can do for you!
